Winsor & Newton Artists' Gloss Varnish
Description
Description
Artists' Gloss Varnish is a premium, UV-resistant varnish designed for artists who want to extend the life of their paintings. This high-quality product seals the microscopic pores in the oil paint film, providing a protective barrier against dirt and grease while ensuring an even sheen across the surface.
One standout feature of this varnish is its removability, which allows easy re-varnishing when needed. To remove it, use a suitable solvent such as Artists' White Spirit or Distilled Turpentine.
It also dries quickly and has a non-yellowing formula, helping your artwork maintain its original vibrancy without the risk of blooming or cracking over time. Wait until your painting is fully dry—typically 6 to 12 months—before applying the varnish. Remember, this product is designed solely for protection and should not be used as a medium in your painting process.
