Natural Glass Brush-On Varnish, formulated from milk, casein, and beeswax, is ideal for watercolours, gouache, drawing media, collage, inks, or as a medium when mixed with your colours. It is a pioneering water-based bio-polymer varnish and painting medium derived from milk casein and beeswax, enhanced with natural ingredients to increase flexibility and stability. It dries quickly, forming a water-resistant, semi-gloss coating. Suitable as a varnish or medium for a range of materials (excluding oil pastels) on nearly all surfaces, including canvas, paper, Yupo, ceramic, stone, glass, leather, fabric (not washable), wood, gourds, jewellery, and more. It allows reworking, removal, overpainting, layering, or use as a pouring medium. Once dry, the surface remains pleasantly non-sticky and does not need Glassine or separating films to prevent sticking. It can be gently cleaned with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt.
