Description
Liquitex Professional Super Heavy Gesso is a thick titanium white acrylic ground that holds sculptural marks as it dries. Build texture into the preparation stage with a palette knife or brush, creating a dimensional base before adding colour.

How to use
Prepare the support, sanding hard or shiny surfaces as appropriate. Apply with a knife or brush and allow at least 24 hours before painting; thicker applications may need longer to dry thoroughly.
Use Liquitex Gesso to adjust consistency as directed on the label. Sand and reapply if a smoother surface is required. When preparing a support for oil paint, follow the product’s coating directions; the existing guidance specifies two to four coats with sanding between applications.
