Shipping is complimentary for orders exceeding $100 (in Canada), exclusive of taxes and coupon codes.

The purchase must be prepaid. Orders under $100 are subject to a shipping fee determined by Canada Post based on the location and destination.

Oversized orders may be ineligible for shipping, and shipping costs will be at the customer's expense. Orders placed outside local trading areas may require 3-5 business days for delivery. Exceptions may be applicable.

Description

Liquitex Professional String Gel Medium turns acrylic colour into honey-like strands for flowing lines, drips and raised texture. Its glossy finish gives dried marks a wet-look shine, adding dimension to abstract painting and mixed-media compositions.

Creates a viscous, stringy consistency for expressive colour effects.
Dries with raised form and a glossy finish.
Increases colour transparency and surface gloss.
Appears opaque when wet and becomes transparent as it dries.

How to use

For best results, mix with Soft Body Acrylic or Acrylic Ink. Stir gently until the colour is distributed evenly, then pour, drip or brush out the mixture to explore different marks.

Allow the raised gel to dry before overpainting to highlight its texture. Experiment with other compatible acrylic mediums for variations, following the product directions and testing your mixture first.
