Liquitex Professional Gloss Pouring Medium creates smooth, glossy pours by thinning paint for effortless flow and a wet-look finish. It also boosts colour flexibility for a durable, craze-free surface—ideal for professional pouring techniques.

Professional Iridescent Pouring Medium prepares colours for a smooth, high-gloss, crack-free finish. It thins paint for easy pouring, improves flexibility and durability, and adds a vibrant iridescent shimmer to every piece.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping is complimentary for orders exceeding $100 (in Canada), exclusive of taxes and coupon codes.

The purchase must be prepaid. Orders under $100 are subject to a shipping fee determined by Canada Post based on the location and destination.

Oversized orders may be ineligible for shipping, and shipping costs will be at the customer's expense. Orders placed outside local trading areas may require 3-5 business days for delivery. Exceptions may be applicable.

Liquitex Professional Pouring Mediums help acrylic colour flow for pours, drips and acrylic skins. Explore a smooth, glossy finish or an iridescent shimmer, depending on the option you select.

Choose your pouring effect

Gloss Pouring Medium supports smooth pours with a high-gloss, wet-look finish.
Iridescent Pouring Medium adds shimmer to fluid acrylic effects.
Mix with acrylic colour to adjust pouring consistency while retaining acrylic binder in the mixture.

Mixing and drying

For Gloss Pouring Medium with Soft Body Acrylic, the existing directions suggest starting with approximately 5% colour to 95% medium. Adjust for your paint and technique, and follow the instructions on your selected pouring medium.

Stir gently to reduce foam. If bubbles form, allow the mixture to rest before pouring. Keep your work level while drying and avoid very uneven pour depths, which can contribute to crazing or cracking. Test a small sample before starting a larger piece.
