Description
Liquitex Professional Glass Beads Medium adds reflective, bubble-like texture to acrylic paintings and mixed-media work. Glass microspheres suspended in a thick acrylic gel create an undulating surface that catches the light.
Features
- High-gloss texture gel with glass microspheres.
- Use alone, mix with acrylic colour, or overpaint once dry.
- Apply thinly for surface texture or more thickly for raised effects.
- 237 ml / 8 oz size.
Ways to work with it
Apply with a palette knife or brush. Start with small additions of colour and build up gradually; transparent or semi-opaque colours help preserve reflective effects. Apply the medium on its own over dry paint to explore its surface shimmer.
For a textured glaze, mix with Gloss Medium and a small amount of Soft Body Acrylic. Follow the product label for thinning and compatibility with subsequent paint layers.
