Fredrix Watercolour Cotton Canvas Boards
Description
Description
Explore watercolour on a woven painting surface with Fredrix Watercolour Cotton Canvas Boards. Made with 100% cotton artist canvas, these boards combine natural fabric texture with a specially formulated absorbent ground for water-based paints.
Cotton canvas for watercolour painting
The Artist Series surface is double-primed with acid-free, absorbent, titanium-based gesso. Unlike standard acrylic-primed canvas, it is designed for watercolour techniques. The durable canvas surface allows you to experiment with lightly lifting pigment and washing back your painting without the tearing associated with paper.
Features
- 100% cotton artist canvas on a board
- Natural woven surface texture
- Double-primed with acid-free, absorbent, titanium-based gesso
- Designed for water-based paints and pigment-lifting techniques
Preparation and recommended media
About ten minutes before painting, firmly wipe the entire canvas surface with a very wet cloth to help paint transfer more readily.
Suitable for watercolours, watercolour sticks, acrylics, inks, paint markers, permanent markers and spray paints. Choose from the available sizes for your next study or finished painting.
