Just keep in mind that applying the medium more thickly will create more noticeable cracks. The drying time varies with application thickness, so patience is key—allow the cracks to develop over several days without interruption. Once everything is dry, apply a varnish to protect the surface and highlight those beautiful cracks. If you prefer a matte finish, start with a gloss varnish; if not, you'll achieve a lovely frosted effect. A brush works best for applying the crackle medium. Enjoy the process!
