Artisan Water Mixable Varnish Remover
Description
Description
This Water Mixable Varnish Remover safely removes water-mixable oil varnishes from your paintings, making cleaning and re-varnishing simple and effective. To use, apply a generous amount of the remover onto a lint-free cloth and gently rub it into the varnish film. If you notice slight pigment transfer onto the cloth, it indicates the varnish is lifting successfully. Use a gentle touch to keep the underlying artwork undamaged.
In addition to the remover, the Water Mixable Oil Colour line features a complete selection of high-quality oils, mediums, varnishes, and solvents. This range lets artists explore traditional oil-painting techniques while enjoying the convenience of water-mixable properties. These products mix easily with water, eliminating the need for hazardous solvents and promoting a safer, more environmentally friendly painting experience.
