Artisan Water Mixable Stand Oil
Description
Description
Linseed Stand Oil is a unique, pale, viscous oil modified to blend seamlessly with water. This exceptional oil significantly slows drying, allowing more controlled application and manipulation of oil paints. When used, it produces a resilient, smooth, enamel-like finish free of unsightly brush marks, enhancing the artwork's overall appearance with its excellent levelling properties.
It works well for glazing, adding depth and richness to colours, and serves as a viable alternative to Refined Linseed Oil. Adding Linseed Stand Oil to your palette makes oil colours “fatter,” enriching their texture and depth. For easy cleanup, wash brushes and tools with soap and water, and avoid harsh cleaning agents to protect the oil and your materials.
