Description

Explore watercolour on genuine woven canvas with a Fredrix Watercolour Cotton Canvas Pad. Each pad contains 10 sheets of 100% cotton artist canvas with a specially formulated ground for water-based paints, offering a portable option for studies, classes and workshops.

A canvas alternative to watercolour paper

The natural fabric texture gives your painting a different surface to explore. These canvas sheets are double-primed with acid-free titanium-based gesso and designed for water-based painting. The durable surface lets you experiment with lightly lifting pigment or washing back your work without tearing like paper.

Features

10 sheets of 100% cotton artist canvas per pad
Natural woven fabric texture
Specially formulated ground for water-based paints
Portable format for travel, workshops and plein air painting

Prepare and support your canvas

Secure each sheet to a rigid support before painting to help prevent buckling. About ten minutes before you begin, firmly wipe the entire canvas surface with a very wet cloth to help paint transfer more readily.

Suitable for watercolours, watercolour sticks, acrylics, inks, paint markers, permanent markers and spray paints. Sheets can be mounted for display, stretched over stretcher bars, or matted and framed under glass.
