Fredrix Artist Series Watercolour Canvas, 7.7oz
Description
Description
Explore watercolour on a woven surface with Fredrix Artist Series Watercolour Canvas. This 100% cotton artist canvas combines natural fabric texture with a specially formulated absorbent ground for water-based paints.
A dedicated canvas for watercolour
Unlike standard acrylic-primed canvas, this surface is double-primed with acid-free, absorbent, titanium-based gesso. It allows you to experiment with lifting pigment and washing back your painting on a canvas surface rather than paper.
Specifications
- 100% cotton artist canvas
- 7.7 oz canvas weight
- Double-primed with acid-free, absorbent, titanium-based gesso
- Stretched on kiln-dried wooden bars
- Extra bracing on larger sizes for added support
Painting tip and recommended media
About ten minutes before painting, firmly wipe the entire canvas surface with a very wet cloth to help the paint transfer more readily. Suitable for watercolours, watercolour sticks, acrylics, inks, paint markers, permanent markers and spray paints.
Available while stock lasts. Restocking is not currently confirmed.
Choose from the available sizes and explore more surfaces in our Fredrix Artist Canvas & Rolls collection.
