Description
Description
The professional artist's watercolours are made using Northwest honey. Artists have favoured honey for centuries because, when mixed with gum Arabic and water, it creates a smooth binder that helps disperse pigment at high concentrations. This produces vivid, saturated colours that vary from soft tints to deep, bold hues. Adding honey eliminates the need for artificial humectants and preservatives, enabling richer pigmentation. Honey naturally draws in moisture from the air, preventing the paint from hardening in the tube or drying out on your palette.
These watercolours re-wet swiftly even after long periods of inactivity, giving you more time to paint and reducing the need for palette upkeep. You can leave your studio palette exposed year-round without a sponge to keep the paint moist.
Infuse your artwork with the energy and vibrancy of the city with this Cityscape themed set. It includes Burnt Sienna, Hansa Yellow Deep, Payne's Gray, Pyrrol Red, and Sepia, each in 15 ml (.5 oz) watercolour tubes.
