These genuine Chinese watercolours are made from finely ground pigments for a smooth, rich texture. They can be applied at full strength or diluted with water, and mix beautifully with both Chinese and Japanese inks. Once dry on absorbent paper, they become water-resistant when wet-mounted, while remaining fully reworkable like conventional watercolours. Some colours in the set are semi-transparent; others are opaque.
