Description
Liquitex Professional Gray Gesso prepares your support with an opaque, neutral grey ground. A mid-tone starting surface lets you judge lighter and darker marks against something other than white as you build your painting.
Features
- Ready-mixed acrylic gesso with a matte neutral grey finish.
- Adds tooth to support paint adhesion.
- Provides a coloured ground for acrylic painting and appropriately prepared oil-painting supports.
- 237 ml / 8 oz size.
How to use
Prepare the support and sand hard or shiny surfaces as appropriate. Apply a thin coat with a wide, flat brush and allow at least 24 hours before painting. Sand and reapply for a smoother base.
Use undiluted or thin with up to 25% water. Follow the label for further thinning and support-specific preparation. When preparing a base for oils, the product directions specify two to four coats with sanding between applications.
