Caran d'Ache Pastel Pencils
Handcrafted in Switzerland with pure raw materials, Caran d'Ache Pastel Pencils are among the finest dry pastel pencils available. Each pencil is individually made — the pastel paste is hand-fed into moulding dies, oven-dried, glued between two strips of premium cedar, and finished with four coats of clear varnish. A double-cone sharpening process completes each pencil with exceptional care.

- Hexagonal, rounded barrel reduces rolling and breakage risk

Colour Range
84 shades covering vivid, luminous, and natural tones — including a wide range of flesh tones, Cobalt Blue, Green Earth, Beige, and warm and cool greys. A well-balanced palette suited to the full range of professional pastel work.
Lightfastness
Exceptionally lightfast — 61 of 84 colours retain their vibrancy for over 50 years, with some lasting up to 100 years. Rated by Blue Wool Scale:
