Artisan Water Mixable Fast Drying Medium

Water mixable fast drying medium improves paint fluidity and flow, reducing the visibility of brush strokes for a smoother finish. This medium speeds drying, allowing artists to work efficiently with multiple layers without worrying about muddying previous applications. Its rapid drying supports excellent glazing and fine details, making it a versatile choice for many painting styles.

This medium is also user-friendly and cleans up easily with soap and water, saving artists from harsh chemicals. For optimal layering, we recommend mixing it with Water Mixable Thinner to support the "fat over lean" rule essential in oil painting.

To comply with regulations, we've enhanced the formulation while preserving its beloved qualities, ensuring safety and performance without compromise.

Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour offers a versatile selection of oils, mediums, varnishes, and solvents for artists who love the richness of traditional oil painting but prefer a more environmentally friendly approach. Each product in this range is formulated to mix effortlessly with water, making cleanup easier and reducing the need for harsh solvents.

This means artists can enjoy the same techniques, textures, and vibrant colours typical of conventional oil paints while maintaining a safer, more sustainable workspace. Whether you’re blending, glazing, or creating intricate layers, Artisan gives you the tools to explore your creativity without compromising quality or safety.
