Use this Slow-Dri Fluid Retarder additive with Liquitex Acrylics to extend drying time. It increases transparency when floating, shading, blending, and washing colours.
Use Slow-Dri Fluid Retarder in place of water before loading the brush with paint to eliminate drag and improve flow.
It helps to reduce paint skinning on the palette and is excellent for liner work, transparent washes, and wet-on-wet techniques; it Cleans up with soap and water.
It may be used with Liquitex Heavy Body Artist Colour and Heavy Body gel mediums; however, the thickness of paints and mediums will be reduced to a more fluid consistency.

Directions
Only mix up to 25% per volume into acrylic paint and acrylic mediums, or the paint may not be fully dry.
Application
Liquitex Paint Additives are similar to acrylic mediums in that they are mixed into acrylic paint and acrylic mediums to change consistency, thickness, transparency, sheen, drying time and absorption rate. However, they are different because they do not contain acrylic polymer emulsion and therefore have no inherent binding qualities. Only limited quantities (usually up to 25%) of any additive can be added to the colour before harming the paint film.
