These pencils combine excellently with other oil-infused charcoals and offer a permanent line to works created with traditional charcoals and water media. Cretacolor Oil Pencils are effective on a large variety of surfaces.
These pencils are exceptionally well suited for sketching, drawing, and experimental techniques. Their full pigmentation creates a high-quality lightfast stroke, and uniquely beautiful effects can be achieved by mixing and smudging various products and experimenting with different paper surfaces and textures.
