Speedball Unmounted Linoleum Smoky Tan Printing Plate 8" x 10"

Speedball Premium Unmounted Linoleum is superior quality linoleum that offers a fine, flat surface that will reproduce sharp and clear artwork without gaps or hollows.

Speedball Linoleum provides a cutting depth of 1/8". It is suitable for use with any water-soluble or oil-based relief ink. The Flexible Printing Plates are made of vinyl material that's 1/8" thick sheets for printmaking and stamping. The soft, flexible printmaking material features a smooth surface on one side and a self-adhesive back.

Easy to cut and mount on a supporting base. Ink with either oil or water-based inks and print using a press, baren, brayer or rubbing tool. You can cut the plate and mount it on a base. Shapes can be cut with school scissors. You can also carve fine lines with linoleum cutters.

Available in unmounted pre-cut pieces or mounted blocks.

PREMIUM LINO PLATE– The fine, flexible flat surface on the Speedball Linoleum Plate will reproduce clear and sharp artwork.

UNMOUNTED DESIGN – These linoleum blocks come unmounted, allowing you to cut or shape the block if you want.  It can also be mounted on a piece of wood or particle board.

SMOKY TAN/ BATTLESHIP GRAY COLOUR – The linoleum is a smoky tan colour that is easy on the eyes during extended carving and accepts pencil transfers.

1/8 INCH CUTTING DEPTH – The surface of the lino provides a 1/8-inch cutting depth.  It is very easy to cut and carve.  Ideal for both beginner and professional printmakers.

OIL OR WATER-BASED INKS – You can use oil-based or water-soluble inks on these carving blocks.  Use one of Speedball’s Rubber Brayers to roll on your ink of choice.
