Enkaustikos Wax Mediums contain Damar Resin, not Damar Varnish.
Most artists are familiar with Damar Varnish, which is made by dissolving damar crystals in turpentine. Many encaustic recipes call for Damar Varnish containing turpentine which is not studio-safe.
